What is stretch mark rejuvenation?

Updated: Feb 20, 2023

Our stretch mark rejuvenation procedure is currently the most effective treatment today that reduces the texture and appearance of stretch marks naturally.

Our technique involves using a combination of our proprietary special blend of organic oils and vitamins which are implanted into the treated area using tiny needles to penetrate each individual stretch mark.

This microdermabrasion process along with the implantation of the oils helps your body boost the production of collagen, cellular turnover and activates the melanin found in the skin to bring back your own natural pigment.

The healed results will show an improved texture which will make them less visible, improved color, and overall size and visibility of your stretch marks.

You can expect to see a 20%-90% improvement after the first treatment. Follow us on instagram to see our proven results for yourself. https://www.instagram.com/duece.ink/

Here is a list of frequently asked questions about the stretch mark removal process.

What should I avoid prior to my stretch mark rejuvenation appointment?

  • Aspirin or ibuprofen 24-48 hours prior to your appointment

  • Alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners 24 hours before your appointment

  • Fish oil or vitamin E one week prior to your appointment (they are natural blood thinners)

What should I avoid after my stretch mark removal appointment?

  • Avoid wearing tight clothing for the next 2 – 3 days

  • Avoid scratching the treated area to prevent infection or discoloration

  • Avoid excessive sweating for 7 days. Moderate exercise is fine after 7 days of the treatment

  • Avoid exposing the area to the full water pressure of the shower for 7 days

  • Avoid underwater submerging (beach, pool, jacuzzi, bath, etc.) For 40 days. Stick to a quick rinse in the shower

  • Avoid perfumed lotions and soaps near or in the treated area until the healing is completed

  • Avoid sunbathing

How quickly will I see results of the stretch mark treatment?

You will see the best results 30-45 days after your initial treatment. You should then have a reliable visible indication of your final result after that time. After the procedure, you may experience some mild irritation, redness and swelling, which can last up to one week. During the third week, the treated area will slightly get darker. Do not panic! It is healing. Once this has subsided, you will begin to see the result of your treatment.

How long does the treatment last?

The healed results are permanent. However there is always the chance to obtain additional stretch marks in the area if weight is gained in the treated area.

Is the procedure painful?

There is minimal pain during the procedure. Females please note that you might be more sensitive during menstruation. You can immediately return to your routine after the procedure. In addition a topical numbing cream can be used for additional comfort.

How many sessions will I need to do?

Every person is different and each case is different. Everything depends on the amount of stretch marks, the severity of the stretch marks, the type of stretch marks, the amount of the treated area, and depth of stretch marks being treated. Also each person has their own perspective on what is good enough. A client may be satisfied with the first initial treatment and the next client may choose to see the most optimal results and book additional treatments to obtain those results.

Can I have to procedure done if I am pregnant/breastfeeding?

The simple answer is no. As soon as you are done breastfeeding/nursing you may book your appointment!

Who is not a candidate for stretch mark rejuvenation?

  • If you are pregnant/breastfeeding

  • If you are diabetic

  • if you have sensitive skin and are prone to hyperpigmentation or have issues with keloids or scarring in general

How long does the procedure take?

The length of the treatment depends on the size of the area to be treated as well as the number of areas being treated. On average, a small area takes approximately 1 hour and a larger area can be approximately 2 hours. All treatments are on a case by case basis which makes it difficult to give an exact time prior to viewing your stretch mark areas.

How long do I have to wait between booking an additional treatment?

The treated area must be fully healed prior to booking an additional treatment on that area. We require an 8 week healing process between our clients appointments.
